Celebrating Easter: A Special Easter Message

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
1 Peter 1:3




We often think of Easter morning as a time of celebration. And it is! Filled with family and friends, gatherings and feasts, colors and life. But that first Easter morning started off quiet and somber. No music, no smiles, just tears and grief as Jesus' followers made their way to His tomb. And then - He appeared! Appearing first to Mary Magdalene, Jesus rose from the dead in order that we may have eternal life in Him. Setting our eyes and our faith in Jesus means that one day there will be no more tears, no more sorrow, no more strife or pain or death. Only abundant life.

We celebrate today with you as we rejoice in the living hope we all have been given!
